A 500w psu for £10 which is vey cheap although i am worried it will fry my system?

i heard that cheap power supplies fry systems. this is to replace my old one which was similar andthat broke after i unplugged it so i need an opinion

you get what you pay for, i usually only get brand names, that are rated for 100w more than what i need, this will work, it does have the chance to kill your mobo if it spikes, but if you need it now, then maybe get it use it, and later replace it with a better one, obtw  it says 500 watt, it is prob closer to 375, real output, just make sure you dont over do it.
