A.B.S. Light on all the time

I have a 98 Chevy Blaver, The abs light stays on all the time, brakes are new ,also hear a griding sound from time to time

Only a shop with the proper scan tools can check this, likely cause is a hub bearing/speed sensor assembly.

Don W is correct, it most likely the hub bearing/speed sensor assembly.  Some auto parts stores have scanners you can use to check the code for yourself.

It does need to be scanned. a really common problem on the Blazers A.B.S is the wiring harness in the front on each side.

have you checked your brake fluid?

check the sensors in the wheels. you might have1 loose or off.
