  1. I think its cub

  2. Pup. Just like a dog. Canines ya know.

  3. pup

  4. The terms are interchangeable - Wolf Cub or Wolf Pup are both accepted terms.

In some areas pup is used and in other areas they say cub.

Perhaps the term commonly used has changed - years ago we used to say Wolf Cubs (also the boy scout organization has Wolf Cubs) and that was the most common name for a young wolf in the UK.

Here in America the term Wolf Pup is used, so in essence, you are both right, the terms are interchangeable, however one used to be in common usage and now the other one is.

Now, which one of you will win?

EDIT:  I bet you say PUP and your Dad says CUB, am I right?

  5. Um Cub is for baby lions dear

  6. the following website says it's either a "pup" or a "whelp."

but the next one says, "pup" or "cub."

here's another one for "cub" or pup."

    another for "pup" or "whelp."

  7. cub is also for bears.

  8. Snowbarbie is absolutely right. Both terms are correct. Here in the UK, we generally use cub - I've never heard anyone here use pup, but I've heard several Americans use it. In zoological terms, both are acceptable.

  9. Pup cause a wolf is a dog ...

  10. Cubs are baby lions, try pup.
