A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawking?

I'm going to be a sophmore in high school and I have to read A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking for Honors Chemistry Class. It is so hard to understand.I really really don't understand. It is so boring. I read the book and kind of froget what occurs. Please help with some study websites or a summary of the main thoughts of this book

It is hard to understand.  A lot of it is examples of the ramifications of the speed of light being finite.  Also a basic outline of Hawking's theory of the universe.  There is no way to explain it all in a paragraph.

A lot of people had problems with the book and there was a subsequent edition with nice color illustrations. That made the explanations clearer.
