A.C Milan legend Paolo Maldini praises Sacchi, Capello and Ancelotti for their role in his career
Former A.C Milan defender, Paolo Maldini, has praised the bosses in his two decade long career with the Italian Champions.
Maldini emerged from the youth ranks of Milan in 1985 under the management of Nils Liedholm. The former Italian defender spent his entire career at San Siro and went onto make more than 900 appearances in his 24 year stay at Milan.
The 43-year-old was unarguably the best defender of all time and has several club and personal honours to his name.
Maldini holds the highest number of appearances in the Serie A and UEFA Champions League and has also won the Ballon d’or award twice in his career. The former Italian international also helped Milan to win 7 league titles and
5 European crowns.

for helping him adjust to life in Milan and revealed that he considered him as a fatherly figure.
The former Italian http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 revealed that every manager helped him develop in a different manner and each of them had an important part to play in his career.
Talking to the reporters Maldini said, "Sacchi's Milan had the merit of paving the way for a long and successful season. Without Sacchi I might not have been part of the great Milan. Without Capello I would not have reached the
highest peaks of my professional career.”

Maldini is considered as a symbol of Milan and the club have retired his shirt number in tribute to his services. His shirt number can only be worn by either of his two sons if they become Milan players.
