A/C from my 1998 bmw Z3 1.9L?

the fan from the dashboard in my 98 Z3 is always on, and the a/c is coming out a bit warm, can I take it to a regular shop and recharge it or is there any replacement to do?? I just got this car last month with 51k miles.

You have a bad final stage resistor probably.  This is the thermostat for your A/C, so after you change it, it will blow cold again.  You can get the part from the dealer for $110 and replace it yourself IF you are mechanically inclined.  

Do a search on the internet for how to install a final stage resistor in a Z3.

Or just take it to the dealer, it really should not be too expensive.
