  1. Hyperthreading is on a CPU allows the cpu to run multiple processes, kind of like having multiple CPUs but not as to the same extent.

  2. With hyperthreading!! For that you have to understand whats meant by Threading. Threading is an efficient way to execute processes concurrently. The deal is to make processes into threads so that they require just small amount of processing power.

    Multithreading means executing different threads interchangeably. Example is a game which has got 2 threads namely the video and audio.

    They act as 2 seperate lines which the processor executes in a zigzag fashion.Thats y we are able to view the game along with the audio.Hyperthreading means the capability of executing so many threads in zigzag fashion.

  3. With the advent of multi-core processing, wherein dual and quad cores are here to stay, the concept of hyperthreading or pseudo cores becomes redundant

    hyperthreading is again talked of by intel, to debut in the Nehalem line
