My favourite café:

is small, and is quite busy during lunchtime. I get lunch there almost every weekend. They serve toast, lasagne, salads, sandwiches and cakes. I like eating here because they have a lot of food to choose from, so you can choose something healthy and tasty for lunch. I love their pasta salad, with whole wheat fusilli, smoked turkey, cottage cheese and veggies.

As for restaurants, I mostly like asian restaurants (mostly Thai). I don't go to restaurants very often though. They're more expensive than cafés. But I will be going to a great Thai place this saturday :)

My ideal restaurant would have a sports theme to it. Lots of TV's around with football, or baseball or whatever on it. A big bar in the middle with plenty of booths against the wall, and some in the middle, Lots of tall tables surrounding the immediate vicinity of the bar. I would want a good selection of beers on tap, as well as a nicely stocked liquor shelf. The decor would definitely be laid back, With some sports memorabilia on the wall, such as jerseys. signed baseballs, footballs, etc... not to gaudy though, i don't want it to look like a Ruby Tuesdays.  As far as food goes, i would like a place that served original recipes, nothing too fancy, but food that pleases the eye, as well as the palate.
