A Call to Reason! Is it wise to put somebody in office that has no experience?

If history has taught us anything it is that unexperience people tend to fall apart quickly. (I know the "change" people will have their side of the story, however, you can't just ignore history) Just ask King Louis 16th. I think it would be wise to vote for someone who has alot of experience! Obama may be the liberals savior, but he jumped in way to early! I personally dislike all liberal views, however, I think Hilliary Clinton would have been a better choice than Obama. Put Obama in and the damage done could be unrepairable! Have a Great Debate and a Great Day!

  1. I've said it a million times and nobody ever has a response. JFK, on paper, had less "experience" then Obama. The no experience thing is yet another excuse from the right because they're running out of other excuses. The Muslim thing is falling apart on them so now there just reaching.

  2. voting an inexperienced moron into the presidency is like going to a major league baseball game and watching an experienced pro ball player get up at bat and maybe going one for four, grounding out most of the time and then only hitting a single.

And the logic of the wanna be in the crowd thinking he can do better than the pro, starts chanting, I can even do better than that, and the robots around him start believing him, too stupid to realize that a pro's worst day is better than a pinhead's best

  3. It would not be wise to have a president with `no' experience.

But Obama is already a US Senator, he interfaces daily with the highest levels of US Government.

So now you are talking about how much, and what kind of experience. That is a more complex question.

The great thing about a free country is someone like Obama can build a grass roots campaign and achieve success.

If that wasn't possible, we wouldn't be America.

  4. People feel they need to prove that America is not racist...

    People feel we owe minorities...

Voting for Obama is a way to say "sorry"

    Sad really...

  5. Experience in what? In an executive office. Neither candidate has experience in an executive role (President, Vice President, or Governor of a state). And this will be the first time since Kennedy that a President has been elected without this experience.

McCain: Never served in an executive office, but he does have military experience and has been in the U.S. Senate since 1987, and in the U.S. House from 1983 to 1987.

Obama: U.S. Senator since 2004. Member if Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. More experience in political office than Lincoln had before he was elected President.

  6. We can go on and on about political experience, experience in foreign relations, military service, etc.....but what about LIFE EXPERIENCE.  There's something to say about facing challenges, learning from mistakes, and seeing things in perspective.  Youth is wonderful, but "it is wasted on the young".  Obama has lived during a time of relative peace, prosperity and comfort.  John McCain has lived through 'h**l' and survived.  He has lived through WW11, Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, and was old enough to remember the struggles of this country.  LIFE EXPERIENCE trumps everything, and JOHN MCCAIN has it!!

  7. I'm not going to give experience a second thought.

He could have all the experience of Ted Kennedy and it wouldn't sway me. Obama stands for everything I oppose.

I think it will be our undoing to make the USA a comfortable place to not-provide for ourselves and our families.

  8. Of course it isn't wise to put someone with almost no experience in the office of the President.

Unfortunately, much of America isn't being reasonable this election. They see a chance to prove to the world how we aren't racist anymore by electing an "African-American" (nevermind that legally, he's Arab-American and is actually more white than Arab or African) that we're pretty much dismissing all experience requirements this time around and voting strictly on skin color.

Which, ironically enough, is racist in and off itself.
