Right now I'm looking for a digital camera to replace an older one which I have a few problems with. First is that it is slow to warm up and takes a few seconds to take a picture after you push the button. Also it doesn't take good night pictures which makes it practically useless after dark. So basically I'm looking for a camera that can take good night pictures fast and for the cheapest amount of money I would Apprciate any suggestions

  1. Take one of your memory cards with you to an electronics store.  Test at least three cameras (using their various features and be sure to shoot using their highest ISO) in your budget using your card ... take your card home and load the images to your computer (if you don't already have a USB card reader, now is a good time to spend $10 and get one) and look at the quality that each camera produces ... then you will know which is the best camera for you, especially under low light (high ISO)

  2. I would go with a Canon PowerShot A580 8-Megapixel it takes exelent nightime photos! and on this canon it has a feature where you hold the take the picture button half way down and then when your ready just click it all the way down and it takes it like .1 second. and it is 8 megapixels wich means great clear pictures. the only thing about this camera is that it runs on batterys so you cant charge it. and it has kinda has a cheap feel to it. anyway it is on sale right now for $140 at circuitcity. here is the link. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Canon-Pow...
