    B says that the car climbs a hill. Does it move up the hill in a straight line? If yes, then no acceleration.

    C says that it goes down the hill. Does it move in a straight line? If yes, then no acceleration.

    In D, there is definitely acceleration because the car first climbs a hill, it goes over the crest and then goes down the other side. This means that the car changes its direction.

    If one option has to be chosen, then the correct option is

    but i have a mustang, and it goes way faster than our other cars,

    it speeds up way easy.

  4. I'd go with C, but I think the answers are faulty. However, let's look at the other answers one by one.

    A - This can't be true because theoretically anything can be accelerated as long as there is a force to be applied.

    B - This can't be true because if a car is moving at a stead speed and begins to travel uphill, it will slow down.

    D - This also can't be true because of the reasons stated in B, however the car will accelerate again when it begins to descend.

    I know that answer was confusing, but so is the question. Hopefully that helps.
