  1. 44.1 mol Xe *(131.29g/mol)=5789g Xe

    1.5 g W *(183.84g/mol)=275.76 g W

Use the atomic mas for the conversions

  2. The gram-molecular weight of Xe is 131.29 grams / mole. Thus, 44.1 moles of xenon has mass 5790 grams.

The gram-molecular weight of W is 183.84 grams /mole. Thus, 1.5 moles of tungsten has mass 276 grams.

  3. 1...Moles x Mol.mass = Mass.

Mol.mass Xe = 131g/mol. (From the Periodic Table).

    131g/mol. x 44.1mol. = 5,777g.

    2...W mol.mass = 184g/mol. (From the Periodic Table).

    184g/mol. x 1.5mol. = 276g.
