A D-Link to SMC Wireless Internet Sharing...

Question

I got a D-LINK RANGEBOOSTER G? USB ADAPTER WUA-2340 and I'm trying to get it to connect to my SMC8014W-G Broadband Wireless Gateway.My D-LINK is on my Win 2k computer and the SMC is on Windows Vista.After following the D-Link instructions. Scanning revealed 2-3 wireless networks... 1 called 'MyPlace' 1-2 called 'Default'.'MyPlace' requires a passkey. I'm unaware of my SMC having one so I believe it's someone else's network.All Networks get below 35% connectivity. So I assume these are far away... My D-Link/SMC is 2 rooms apart (25meters est.) at most?Any tips for what I do to get this to work? Steps I missed? (Internet/file sharing)
