  1. Not long enough for the deer.

  2. If he is driving a MAC truck there is no need to worry.  But 12.2 meters per second is increadibly slow for a deer, about 27.45 MPH.  I doubt the deer would have any problem avoiding the truck.

  3. 12.2/4.3 = 2.837 seconds

  4. Sorry don't know what 4.3M/S2 is...     When I went to school it was feet and inches....

  5. Depends on the size of the deer.

    If the deer is big enough, the car will stop almost instantly (causing certain death to the vehicle occupants).

  6. Use v = u + at, where v is the final velocity, zreo in this case, u the initial velocity, 12.2 m/sec, a is -4.3 m/sec/sec (negative because he`s slowing down), and t the time it takes for him to stop, so:

    v = u + at,

    0 = 12.2 - 4.3t, so

    4.3t =12.2, so

    t = 12.2/4.3, so

    t = 2.84 seconds.

  7. at least 2.8 seconds
