  1. Here's a good non-conventional renewable energy source: Solar Concentrator power. Basically you get huge mirrors to heat water and generate electricity in the same way as a 'conventional' source like fossil fuels and nukes (which, by the way, are NOT renewable!!!).

Also you should not confuse renewable with environmentally friendly or even sustainable. For example corn-derived ethanol is 'renewable' but is causing massive environmental and social damage. Also HE dams are really damaging too.

You should do your own homework though ;)

  2. Renewable resources are resources that are renewed quickly enough to be replenished naturally, such as sunlight or wind. Non-renewable resources are resources that take many years to replace, such as coal, fossil fuels, and natural gas.

  3. Renewable resources are those resources which can be used again and again and will not be finished eg :- sunlight, air etc.

non renewable resources are those resources which cannot be used again and again and will be finished after a period of time if used continuously. eg:- Fossil fuels like coal and petroleum.

  4. Renewable resources can be replaced, in time. Non-renewables can't. Now, finish your own homework.

  5. Renewable = powered by the sun in our current time period.  Examples are windmills, hydroelectric, solar cells, wood, corn, ocean waves, etc.

Non-renewable = energy created long ago and not replaced.  Examples are coal, oil, uranium.
