A.F.L how do you think the saints will go in 2008?

I think they will have a pretty good year.

Although I don't think they'll win the premiership.., this year, anyway.

Even though, I am not a saints fan; I'd like to see the saints go back to those good old days when the likes of Nicky Winmar, Tony Lockett & Robert Harvey were all playing together and they were at the top of their game.

I would love to see the saints in the GF and play anybody except West Coast, and win

it depends reli. if we dont have many injuries like last year we can go all the way.

with king, rix and gardiner in the ruck, and ball, harvey, dal santo, lenny hayes and so on tthere going to be unstoppable.

then theres kosi, gehrig, riewoldt and milne in the forward line.

its rob harveys last year, what a better way to send off a champ by winning a flag

if they keep their players fit...most importantly...Kozzy

he's a star and if he stays fit, then the saints have not only a class ruckman in him to back up king and Gardiner, and King; but also a sensational marking forward and shot at goal.

they also need to get their minds in gear. look at Geelong last year, at round 5, the side was in trouble and people were calling for Bomber's head, then they decided to flick the on switch and we all know what happened!

Justy - I went and watched the Cats/Saints game yesterday.

The young Saints were impressive against an obviously undermanned Cats.  They had a lot of hustle and hassle about them.  If they keep that going they could be good but we have to see them in the real season against top teams to make a decision.

I managed to get $50 on them at 150-1.  I thought that looked like one h**l of a bargain, so I won't be too disappointed if my Cats don't get up!! (provided the Saint do) :-)

I posted a similuar question last week about the Saints. I think they can and they will be  a force this season. They certainately have the players and the class to match the other sides. Its time to step up and produce the eggs. St Kilda are ready to challenge and conquor.

Highly unlikely. I'd like to see them win but they haven't won a premiership in 40 years and Geelong are very strong right now unlike the saints.
