A Faint Line is a Line right?

Question

I figure a faint line is a line, but gosh. It seems unreal. I tried to take pics to get opinions on the line, but they didn't take well. I have asked people around if I was seeing things, they all said nope its there. Its just really faint. I had a miscarriage back in June, so I am super scared. Should I be scared? I haven't told my fiance yet. A line is a line right? Yes it has some purpleish/red color to it. Its a dollar general baby test with the red die. Also I am due for my period on friday or saturday. I just have been feeling weird.

Yes.  I had a really really faint line.  I even called company that makes First Response and they said it was a line.

a line is a line but if you leave it till sat and do another one it should be darker by then, but i would say your pregnant, as for your mc its understandable your going to be scared, but you have to think about this little one and try not to stress to much, all the best and congrats xx

It is possible to have a false positive, but it is rare.  

Even the generic brands that are not as costly as more expensive name brand home pregnancy kits are now equipped to detect changes in hormone levels as early as 5 days before a missed period with a pretty high accuracy. I would definitely schedule an appointment with a doctor to do a true test so that way you can plan in advance for whatever you decide to do.  I wish you all the best...

A line is a line no matter how faint but if you are unsure go to you Gyno and get a blood test

My first pregnancy test came back with an almost nonvisible line ...so I waited a few days and took another, and BOOM, that line appeared bright and visible as ever !

a line is a line!!  Congrats... wait, your excited right?  either way I am sure everything will work out.  Go get a test with a read out, pregnant/ not pregnant.  my friend did that and took a picture of it when it said pregnant and put it in her baby book, and on myspace, it was so cute, that is also maybe how you could tell him, with a pic of it... or the actual test.

The darkness of the line in irrelevant. If there is a line then YES congrats!

well i took a $ store test b4 a couple weeks ago and my hubby and i were so excited we finnally got our positve sign 1 dark line and 1 light line just as u described but when i retested i got a neg and confirmed it though a blood test at the doctors office that it was just a false positive so i dont trust those stupid test anymore i would advise dont get your hopes up always confirm a pregnancy though the doctors blood test

I really hope so, i took the dollar tests on tues, wed and both had very faint positive and today not first morning urine got a negative. Talk about crushed. Just try not to get all your hopes up double and even tripple check. Everyone i asked saw the second line but i guess it was neg. for me. I HOPE its different for you i know how you feel and let me know about what happens with you. PLEASE
