  1. 1. I'm not sure what that sentence means..

    if you are trying to say "I am Josh", depending on your age it could be

    Boku wa Joshu = younger, less masculine "I am Josh"

    Ore wa Joshu = more manly "I am Josh"

    2. by jomaji do you mean roomaji? the writing of japanese words in english(roman) letters? I'm sure people know how to write it if they have taken some english lessons. that one I'm not so sure on.

    3. japanese is spoken in Japan, Singapore, Brazil, United States (esp. Hawaii), Peru, Australia, Taiwan, Philippines, Guam, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, Guadalcanal, Palau. (Wikipedia)

    4. katakana is used for foreign/borrowed words i.e. "hot dog", "mcdonalds", "s**y", or an american name. of course the spelling is altered so the japanese are able to pronounce it.

    ホッツドッグ = hottudoggu = hot dog

    マクドナルド = makudonarudo = mcdonalds

    セクシイ = sekushii = s**y

    ジョシュ = joshu = josh

  2. I am called Josh, but "Josh to moushimasu" is better, IMO.

    Romaji and no.

    Of course you can find native speakers all over the world but Japan is the only country with Japanese as its official language and the only country where Japanese is mainly spoken. Although in Hawaii there is a large Japanese population.

    Just Google for it.
