A Few Questions About Blackberrys?

Question

1. The Site that I Was Looking On didn't Mention Anything About Black berries being Able to text... (hence,I'm asking can you text with blackberries, and i mean on ALL blackberries, like would the pearl have the texting feature?)

2. Do you need a memory card for A blackberry... i was reading somewhere, and it said you did... but other sites tell me that you don't... so I'm not to sure...

Blackberries can e-mail, ping (which most people don't know about) and also do txt, im, and sms.

A ping is basically a text message, but it is from blackberry to blackberry and done with a special code that you get from blackberry. The difference is... you aren't charged for it.

If you have a lot of friends that have black berries, this could make a difference to you... if not, then just do the regular texts... it's the normal rates of whatever your carrier charges

Now in terms of the memory cards... the pearl takes a micro sd, and while it is not actually necessary, I think it would be in your best interest to use one.

Here's why

When you use the net, memory is cashed to your phone  (similar to cookies)which will not be apparent at first, but after a while your phone will get slower and slower.

In using the SD... the memory will be cashed to that.

If you already have a micro SD.. you can just pop it in

If you don't the 1gb is 19.99

2gb is 29.99

4gb is 39.99 in our stores

You can find them online or in WalMart for cheaper

I'd just say this... if you are going to get a nice device like the pearl... invest the extra 20 bucks to keep it running fast
