SLEEPING

When I dream

I struggle

Harder not to wake.

The colours swirling,

Mine alone

Draw me deeper peaceful sailing,

Gliding downward gentle ones.

Lethe's canyon

Opens to me

The depths of Ea

Beckon on.

Colours peaceful dreaming deeper

Fresher still than e're was dawn

A quiet nudge as arm now reaches

And warm it draws me close in sleep.

Flesh enfolding, warmly molding

Here together

In embrace

Gently breathing.

In the darkness sweet and velvet

We feel blueness, gladness,

Newness coursing through us

All cares are over,

And we sleep.
