A Good Riding Plan for getting ready for next years fair?

Whats a good plan for a local fair for English riding (no jumping)

What should I really work on to be prepared

i'm working toward a show that is on july 13th this year.

this will be my 1st show.. i have been riding for several years just never had any interest in showing at all.

anyway. well all summer i've been out to the barn where i have my horses every day riding (well i went up north for a

weekend and had bad weather one day so i didn't go)

i ride the horse i plan to show every day. but make sure when you are doing all that riding that you don't just do the same thing every day or your horse will get bored and can get very sassy.  today after ring work i took my horse out trotting down the edge of the field.

then 2 days before the show (this is what the barn owner told me, he used to show in the AQHA circuit) he told me to ride my horse hard.. really get her worked good. (on both days before the show)

he said that he would always do that and then on show day the horses went perfect.

just know what you have to know for the classes you'll be entering and work on those things
