A Great Restaurant in NYC?

Question

My parents are visiting from the south and I would love to take them to a great restaurant in NYC. I live here (NYC), but don't get out much...any ideas? My parents have done a lot for me, so I am looking to treat them to a really nice dinner(within my budget that is). I am looking to spend between $45-$85 A PERSON so no more that $290. Hope I get some great reccomendations...thanks in advance.

Blue Hill is one of my all time favorites. Located in Washington Square in Greenwich Village.

the spice market. it's in the meat packing district. it's very healthy and really good portions. i recommend the "bento box" you get an appetizer, a meal, a drink, and sherbert, all for under 20 dollers. it's a very nice restaurant. the coffee sherbert is to die for.

Try Caffe Grazie near the Metropolitan Museum. Great Italian and a very cute, cozy place. You might also try Barbetta in the Theater District.

I would have to say Blue Water Grill, Union Square NYC, Charlotte from s*x and the City ate there in the series.  Although Ocean Grill is great too, both are under the BR Guest Umbrella which have a lot of wonderful restaurants check out their website. Hope this helps
