  1. Your post is not long at all and is not confusing.

In any case, how will you homeschool? Basic homeschooling? Online private school? Online public school? Independent study?

Independent study, IF offered at your school, would be the way to earn credits through your school. An online public/charter school for your state would also have acceptable credits. If you do just basic homeschooling, the school doesn't have to recognize your work at all.

If you can get your P.E. credits in the way you suggest will depend on the school.

  2. As a homeschooled student, you'll need to earn credits in your homeschool.  Just like when a student moves to a new area, their credits transfer to the new school.  You can do your PE credits at home, just like anything else.  Whether it be joining a gym and getting your exercise that way or doing physical activity at home, you can earn those credits in the school you've established at home.  When you go back to public school, you take those credits with you.  Just be sure everything is well documented.

Obviously, things can vary from district to district, so you'll need to see what their documentation requirements are, and to find out if they have any weird rules.

    Good luck!

  3. It shouldn't be a problem, but it depends on your school district.  Most home education programs offer correspondance courses or online courses where you could take the PE credit.

  4. You really need to check with your own school district as some will accept the credits you earn as a homeschooler whilst other districts won't.

Yes, they *should* all accept your credits no matter where you earned them as, like another posted already pointed out, it is not really any different than you transferring in from any other private school. However, there are still some school districts which persist in being very precious & prissy about homeschooled kids and may simply refuse to recognise any of the credits you earn as a homeschooler; therefore you'd need to check the attitude of your own local school district towards homeschooling & homeschoolers.
