A Homemade Un-Maned Helicopter?

Hi Frnz....I had a query...

I am a B Tech first yr student

I am assigned to make a Science project...using the concepts of Physics and chemistry

I came upon an idea recently

Is it possible to build a Helicopter???

I dont have very high expectations

It will be unmaned and very small

Az small as possible...

I need some SERIOUS help Guys

Is this a VIABLE or a FEASIBLE Project???

  1. Sure it's possible to build a small helicopter . . . they're available as toys, aren't they?  Where do you plan to fit in the chemistry angle?  Fuel?  Materials?  If you want to make a flying machine as a science project, I think it would be interesting to look up some old designs (pre-Wright Bros.) that didn't work and see whether some aspect of modern science (like lighter materials) would make the difference in a working model.


  2. anything is possible...but,     why not try something that stays on the ground?  More feasible....Yes .
