A Human races question.?

Question

I've always wondered how many people of each race (Mongoloïd,Caucasoïd and Negroïd) live on our planet.

Mongeloïd = Chinese, Japanese, etc.

Caucasoïd = Europeans, South Asians, etc.

Negroïd = Africans, African-Americans, etc.

Does anyone know this?

What about the Capoids and Australoids?  

Don't they count?

Human is a single race

Nobody knows this because nobody is currently keeping records on this.

This is one case where the concept of Race totally falls apart because of genetic mixing.

The very best you can do is take demographic data from one of the World population databases, make your own choices as to what categories you want and then add the numbers country by county.

Even at this it will be a very crude approximation.  There are currently almost 6.7 billion humans on Earth.  One guess runs:

2.9 billion Mongeloïd

2.2 billion Caucasoïd

1.0 billion Negroïd

0.6 billion Other

These number are meaningless because there is no clear cut division between what are called Races.
