Here is the situation. My dad (PR) applied for me when i was in 18(2004). he did a I-130. it has been approved and in 07 they sent us a letter saying it is sent to NVC.

My dad will become a citizen by january 2009. I am now 22 years old and want to know what i can do, or if i am out of luck with this petition.

I will turn 23 i am single and live with them in the US. I have lived here with them since they brought me since 8 yr old.

we initially came here illegally. but my parents adjusted to PR by my Citizen brother. And in 2004 They did the I-130 for me.

  1. you have lived in the US since age 8? then, there are no age limit, that apply to you, because of your age now,

if you are in the states? the I-130 should not concern you?

this is what an I-130 is for:

    Petition for Alien Relative

    Purpose of Form :

For citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States to establish the relationship to certain alien relatives who wish to immigrate to the United States. Note: A separate form must be filed for each eligible relative. USCIS processes Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, as a visa number becomes available. Filing and approval of an I-130 is only the first step in helping a relative immigrate to the United States. Eligible family members must wait until there is a visa number available before they can apply for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status to a lawful permanent resident.

you are already in the US.....

did you stay in the US as well?

    or have you left?

your writing is not clear to me.......
