In yesterdays game vs the rays A.J Pierzynski clearly stuck his arm out while making a bad base running mistake to get Doug Eddings to call interference and Doug bought it. this call changed the game because A.J. scored the winning run . Watch the video and tell me what you think.

  1. That was a bad call but I don't think it changed much. That would have been the second out of the inning. If AJ didn't score the runner on second would have. When you get a break take advantage.

  2. That's why I love Michael Barret

  3. AJ is the type of player that you hate when he isn't on your team.  Rodman as a Piston was hated in Chicago and the minute he came here he owned the town.  AJ doesn't own the town but he is a pain in the rear that gets things done.

  4. Just coincidence. AJ is one of the smartest players in baseball. Either hate him or love him.

You could love Michael Barrett but his punch was an all out cold **** and didnt even drop AJ. Thats a sissy if i ever seen one. Do you still love Barrett for when he got into a fight with Big Z in the dugout? I mean thats classy right.

  5. Can't blame AJ, but that was a horrible call.

  6. That was one of the cheapest, bush league acts I've ever seen. He knew he was gonna be tagged out so he resorts to low class play that even newbie little leaguers don't do. The ump who called him safe is the same one who GAVE him first base in the 05 postseason. I don't know why people say he's smart. He can't even remember how to spell his name AJ. What would you expect from a team led by Guillen? True classless loser action by a classless loser catcher.

  7. I have watched it several times and thought the same thing over and over...BRILLIANT!!!!  THe slightest of contact by a player without the ball on a runner is interference, they got the call right on this, it is cheap but it just shows that AJ (love him or hate him) has a great baseball IQ and new it was the easiest way out of a bad situation.  Aybar should have been a little more aware of AJ and peeled off hard instead of lagging along side him.
