A.J. Pierzynski remembers his time with Chicago White Sox – MLB Update
Though A.J. Pierzynski has officially signed with the Texas Rangers but he is still remembering his time with the Chicago White Sox with whom he played almost seven years.
Recently he has started his new beginning with the Texas Rangers and as soon as he reached Texas, he released a statement which stats in clear words that A.J. Pierzynski wanted to finish his career with the White Sox.
“It was really one of those things that never seemed like it was going to work out, It just seemed like it was always … they made some calls but it never got to the point where it was, ‘Hey, let’s move on something,” Pierzynski said of brief and never serious
discussions with the Sox and explained in the media with great detail.
He added with more confidence, “At the same time, am I disappointed? Any time you’ve been eight years in a place, you’d love to go back and I’d like to have finished my career there. But I’m looking forward to a new place and a new challenge. It’s been a
long time since I’ve changed teams.”
Earlier some news papers reported that White Sox might consider re-signing Pierzynski but for some reasons both sides could not agree on a mutual understanding.
Later free agent A.J. Pierzynski signed with the Texas Rangers and hoped for a new beginning with a new franchise. Not only now he is looking confident to start with the Rangers’ but the Texas side along with its coaches and manager is also looking forward
to see Pierzynski performing for them.
Pierzynski is a highly talented individual and knows his game well. His past experience along with his offensive game certainly is a great factor for him to achieve more excellence with the Texas Rangers.
His past performances are much more consistent as he achieved great appreciation as well. Last season, with the Chicago White Sox, he remained consistent on the plate and also behind the plate. He showed consistent numbers with the bat achieving .278 hitting
average along with 27 home runs, 77 RBIs and .326 OBP.
