Love triangle is actually a two way path. Its either you are competing with another guy or girl to get the main one or you are having a secret affair with your friend's alleged partner. You have chosen a path either way and you need help. While finding yourself in a love triangle might not be your choice, responding to it is definitely in your control.  It is up to you to stay or to leave. Ask yourself what you are benefiting from the relationship, are you happy? Because being in a relationship that you have to vie for attention is not ideal, as it should be built on love and trust not for the  guy or girl. Explore the reasons of your stay in that “relationship”.  The human mind is a complex thing as people do things for a lot of reasons, it could be for the thrill of danger, or emotional support, the need to not  be alone or for financial benefits, whatever it is, remember the pain of leaving,  is not an indication of true love, it could stem from the various needs that the person provides and  it is also important to consider the level of betrayal you will inflict on your friend if he/she finds out. Also the suffering you will go through alone if the one you are competing for finally chooses, and its not you.  No amount of “love” in a love triangle is  enough for the suffering you will inflict in yourself. You've got to choose.
