  1. i dont think so cus there a alot of money. and if there going over 200mph and hit a car people could die. but if they do they need the best drivers they got and put rookies in slower cars so no one gets hurt or killed.

  10. When I went to the annual Lotus Show at Donnington there was a lotus exige police car - i don't think it was really used as a police car though. What a shame!

  11. The article refers to the car being displayed at a motor show 2 years ago.  Is it an operational vehicle?  I doubt it.

    In answer to your question, yes it would be necessary in catching criminals who are also driving a Lamborghini Murcielargo LP640! : )

  12. The Police in Italy do actually have a few Lamborghini's.

    Here in the UK it is just a gimmick. No Chief Constable with an ounce of common sense would spend any of thier budget on such an expensive car, when something far cheeper can do the job just as well. These cars are just for the show.

    I once saw an Aston Martin badged up for a show. Again it was just a gimmick to attract more people.  

  13. I cant imagine it would be that practical for getting criminals in the back to take to the station, but it would sure be fun driving it!

    Last year GMP had a liveried Hummer H2, but it has now been returned to its owner.
