A Level Art: When doing research is it ok to copy info straight from websites?

It seems such a waste of time (and it's soooooo boring) writing up exactly the same information in your own words. Will I be seriously marked down for copying a piece of text pretty much word for word?

YES! Plagiarism can get you into so much trouble. Make sure you reference everything. If you take something word for word put it in quotation marks and if you paraphrase you still have to reference  it. I know its boring and tedious but it'll be worth it in the end!
