If I am a Canadian student hoping to apply to an university in the United Kingdom, do I still need A-levels, or is there some other international qualification that can be used? Also, is it advisable for me to get SATs and submit that to the university even though I am Canadian?

(I am in gr10, and trying to find out how the system works. I have the London School of Economics in mind.)

  1. I have no idea what other universities in the U.K. accept for Canadian applicants but according the University of Oxford's website, they accept 'at least 85% in OSSDs from Ontario, or equivalent grades from other provinces.'

Perhaps contact the universities you are interested in or look on their website for more information - you may find what you are looking for there.
