A Little Light wins Stan James Bookmakers Stakes at Oxford 
Being the only favourite runner for Stan James Bookmakers Stakes, A Little Light won the event with a margin of one length at Oxford on January 15. It was a Grade A4 race of 450m category.
The triumphant hound competed against Last Word Early, Catunda Mel, Cream, Ballyhank Dapper and Curra Prince.
A Little Light broke from trap 4, and from the very beginning, the black b***h had a great pace which helped her to assume the lead soon.

The daughter of Tiny Light was not be able to sustain her momentum, and got slowed down once in the middle, giving way to Last Word Early.
But the b***h managed to keep the back runner away, and rushed ahead to finish in 27.24 seconds.

Whelped in April 2009, she accomplished this spot for the 5thtime in her career which began in May, 2011.

The victor’s trainer, A M Kibble, applauded his trainee a lot after the race and reiterated the claim that she had a bright career ahead of her.
This was a significant event where the winner earned £50. By winning this race, A Little Light has established herself as the favourite runner for the upcoming events. She is likely to draw a huge bankroll during the calendar year.
The second spot in the race was accomplished by Last Word Early, who tracked the leader throughout the race, but lagged 1 length behind.

Breaking from trap 1, the fawn dag was slow in the beginning but got fast in the middle.
Giving a tough time to A Little Light, the son of Big Daddy completed the distance in 27.32 seconds.

Though she was not in an offensive mood, but the two top finishers had to apply immense effort to stay ahead of her, especially near the finish line. The daughter of Jamaican Star is trained by N. Colton.
At the end of the race, A Little Light walked away with £50 while each one of the other five hounds earned £25.
