Find the measures of the angle, its complement, and its supplement if four times the complement equals 2/3 of the supplement.

We're now studying about angles. Please help. I cant understand how it works. Please put your solution.

  1. X is the angle, the complement would be (90-X), and the supplement would be (180-X)

    4*(90-X) = 2*(180-X) / 3

    360 - 4X = (360 - 2 X) / 3

    360 - 12/3(X) = 120 - 2/3(X)

    240 = 10/3(X)

    720 = 10 X

    X = 72
