Can you draw two lines that are both parallel and perpendicular.

  1. Yes, but only if they don't need to be straight lines.


  2. Paralel lines never intersect to each and perpendicular lines are not parelel lines.  More over perpencular lines are also do not intersect but touch the base lines.

  3. No. Parallel lines never intersect while Perpendicular lines intersect each other to form a right angle

    By defining the slope of parallel lines (same slope but different y intercepts) and the slop of perpendicular lines (opposite and reciprocal of each others' slopes), there is no such line that is perpendicular and parallel simultaneously.

    The slope of 2 parallel lines are the same.

    A line is perpendicular to another line is if their is the inverse reciprocal of the other.

    One line cannot be the other.
