A few years ago I heard there were a updated production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar which takes place in 1967 in the Vietnam War, and the Caesar character is the Army Lt. Colonel and the Brutus character is the Marines Sergeant. Did that play ever happened?

  1. This one had me intrigued. :-)

The only thing I could find was a production from July 18 to October 5, 1986 by the Old Globe Theatre Company in San Diego. I don't know if it was set specifically in Vietnam, but I guess it was modernized with costuming and effects reminiscent of the era. You might try contacting the Old Globe and talk with their archives department.
