  1. Looking through Princess Caroline's marriage history, her first two commoner husbands Philippe Junot and Stefano Casiraghi did not receive any royal titles at the time of their marriage. Her third husband Ernst August V, Prince of Hanover, is a Prince in his own right, and he also did not receive any additional titles through their marriage. If Princess Caroline marries again to a commoner, it is a safe bet to say that her fourth husband would probably not be titled and styled as "Prince Consort" of Monaco.

  2. No.He could receive a lesser title if he wished. Her two commoner husbands were without titles.None of them wanted a title and it is said Caroline didnot want them to have one.
