A Name question.?

I have a japanese friend named Kojin and I was wondering what that name actually means. I know that most japanese names have a meaning to them but I cant seem to find what that exact name mean. If anyone knows or cant find out id appreciate it.

Don't know if he'll like the outcome, but here is what I found:

             Kojin means  "the deceased" or

             Kojin means  "individual "
