A Perfect book for an essay?

Question

I have to write an essay on a book based on the characters ,but I was wondering what are some good books that are high reading level or that will work for my essay?

any suggestions?

Alice in wonderland. Not only is it an excellent book but also has heaps of easy charcters and metaphors for essay material.

the most recent book i've read

it's a non fiction book so i can't say there's really "characters" in it...

but it's pretty short,easy to read,cusses quite a bit,and it's funny..

Nothing's Sacred By Lewis Black
