I’m in an 8 Team League; I’ve got the 2nd pick. Assuming LT is the first pick, who should I take with that 2nd pick? AP or Westbrook? AP showed he was a stud his rookie year but should I fear the sophomore slump and Westbrook has been a Top 5 Fantasy pick for the few seasons. I’m leaning towards AP, what would you do?

  1. They are both very good and very consistent with putting up a good amount of points each week. To the person above me westbrook has a better chance of getting hurt again like he was last year but westbrook is very reliable. If i were you i would pick AP cuz he put insane numbers last year but they wil be playing some pretty good defenses. Good luck!

  2. westbrook is there main man he can do it all and has proving it. ap is coming in on his 2nd year anything can happened i would go with ap and try to trade him latter for 2 good picks

  3. Go with Westbrook if you're looking for the safe choice. He's almost guaranteed to get 1000 yards and 10 TD's, as well as alot of receiving yards out of the backfield.

However, Adrian Peterson has alot more upside, and comes with a much bigger payoff if he can stay healthy.

Personally, I like to live dangerously.

    I'd take Peterson.

  4. westbrook. ap is inconsistent.

  5. Stay with Peterson.

  6. AP, most running backs have their best your their 2nd year..

  7. Westbrook.  AP is great but will get hurt again.

  8. Tough call.  Both have injury problems.  The argument for Westbrook is that AP may get a lot more attention from opposing defenses because of question marks at QB and WR.  AP had several weeks where he couldn't break through because defenses honed in on him.

I think AP's upside though is huge and Westbrook's age combined with his injury history makes him a bigger risk.  I'd choose AP.  I'd also consider Addai here, who is durable, consistent, and will likely catch more balls out of the backfield.

  9. Is it not ironic that a record breaking season at the most important position still doesn't put you at the top of the draft list over the 2nd or 3rd best season at the 2nd most important position.

However, I would go with Westbrook over Peterson.

You never know how the defense will adapt in Peterson's 2nd year to him.
