More Than Human

Four arms reach to the sky

Prickly pear to the left

Palm trees to the right

Standing in the center

On display

Indifferent to weather

Erect and proud

Drought or monsoon

Solid and stoic

A survivor

Beyond human, bringing connotations of mountains and forests, things that have stood without man, that will continue to be without us.
