When she said she Loved you,

But made you feel HATED,

When you thought someone was going to be there for you,

But Wasn't,

When you thought they cared,

But couldn't care less,

Said they'd never leave,

But left,

When they didnt want to worry you,

But left you in a state of worry,

Wanting you in my hour of need,

But left me needed,

Not wanting to disappoint me,

But leaving me in the lurch,

Did I really matter to you?

But, you said....

  1. Pixie has the Best Answer, no doubt. :)

Just because someone said something doesn't mean that they will  not change their mind.

If you are open to it, you will find the relationship with a real person in person that you are looking for. If you are gloomy and self-pitying, you will most likely not.

Do you want people to care about you or feel sorry for you? When you are being so down, you are not showcasing the better parts of your personality.

I don't mean for any of this to sound harsh, but you are not the first and last person in the world to feel pain. It could always be worse. You could be dying painfully, you could be responsible for someone else's pain, you could be trapped under something really heavy, to name a few.

If you are giving up on relationships now at 32, I think you making a bold and lonely decision.

  2. I agree with Grammy.  I didn't find my husband until I was 35 years old, so please don't give up on finding that special someone. You really are a wonderful person. I've only known you for a couple of months, & right away you come off as very kind, intelligent, thoughtful, funny, & a true gentleman.  The right girl for you is out there, I just know it!

As for your poem, I hate the fact that you are hurting so much, but am glad that you have found this outlet for your pain.  Your poem is very well-written & expressive.

  3. I have to agree with Grammy and Emily's Mommy. However, I don't at all agree with your comment/additional detail. Because you are still grieving the loss of a relationship, it is understandable that you would be pessimistic and wary regarding relationships. You need to get your power back, my friend. Not to be unkind, but you own your feelings, and you do indeed make the choice, moment to moment, on how you will feel. From reading your poem, she is responsible for your emotions. Where is your accountability? I know you as a powerful, empathic, psychic light worker, not as a victim. How long will you allow another to control your emotions and immediate future?

Having survived physical, emotional, and sexual abuse during the course of my life, I have a keen understanding of pain. However, there has always been a lesson and a blessing behind every terrible incident. Always. I just had to be willing and open enough to accept it. More importantly, I first had to learn to love myself again. I had to own my piece of the puzzle and make the decision to heal. And that's exactly what it is: a decision/choice.

This, too, shall pass, should you allow it. There are many out there that love you.You have to make the choice to accept the love and support that is awaiting you.

All that I say is said with love and respect...

  4. I am so sorry your pain has not eased. I know there is someone out there who will truly love you for who and what you are. You are a kind and loving person with a big giving heart. Do not give up hope. A **Big Grammy Hug** for you my friend.

  5. Great, you just said my life story. That is what i am going through now and forever it will be in my heart and life.
