  1. the frist begining

  2. most dancers start around 10-14 but it mostly depends on you ankle strength and you ballet ability. hope i helped

  3. tipically 12 thats when i started and some studios the teacher decides so it's all dependant your feet have to be fully developed so it dosen't hurt the growth in your feet you also have to be strong enough to hold your self up

  4. once your ankle has enough strength to hold you up, you're ready to go up on pointe.

your dance teacher will tell you if your ankles are strong enough or if they need more strength.

if she says you need to wait a little longer, ask her some questions on how to make your ankle stronger.

  5. Well I went on pointe at age 11. Although, I have been dancing since I was 3 so my dance teacher knew I was ready. So i am guessing around 8 years of practice. Although, if you started around age 7 I think it would be okay. If you have been dancing for only 2 years, you are not ready. You have to wait until your feet have been structured right. I knew I was ready and I have never had a foot injury.

    =)

  6. It depends how much training she's had. At my dance academy, it can be anywhere from 10 and up, but that's if your an avid and intensive dancer. If you want to know when you'll be ready, just ask your teacher!

  7. usually after age 12 when the bones in the foot are more developed and ready for such work.

your teacher will let you know.

you must be strong enough to hold yourself up.

too young and you will damage your feet

  8. It depends on the dancer and school you are at.But i got my pointe shoes at 12,but that does not mean all dancers can get theirs at 12, it's when your ankles and leg mucles are ready to start dancing on pointe!

  9. when your teacer tells you it is okay. also when your muscles and bones are strong enough
