why do you think the media is dangerous?

and why do they have so much control over teens today?

I do not think the entertainment or news media has any control over anyone.  

If teens allow the entertainment media to assert some control over their lives, that is their own decision.

We are only controled by those we allow to control us.

So I think a better question might be "Is it dangerous for teens to allow news or entertainment media to influence their lives?"
