A Q for people from Vancouver and Toronto?

Hi there,l just wanted to get some info on climate in Vancouver and Toronto as lm planning on visting them!

Whats the weather like in the winter and summer in particular.

Is it hot in the summer,cold in the winter?Does it snow much in the winter and does it rain much in the summer,how hot is it?

Vancouver rains a lot in the winter but is generally very pleasant in the summer. Toronto can get brutally cold in the winter and extraordinarily humid in the summer.

hi..I'm from Toronto an dcan only speak for this city.  It depends when you plan to make your trip.  right now, i.e. April, we have just started to see +ve side of the scale.  We are enjoying a beautiful spring like conditions with temp. around 10-15degrees C.  The best time to enjoy here is in June-july when the sun is warm and bright.  

Snow is very unpredictable in winter.  Also, it depends on the time of season.  Usually, fall begins by August when the weather is still bearable.  Come Nov-Dec, things get worse!

I was born, raised, and still live in Toronto and believe me it isn't because of the weather!  The winters are very long and can be unbelievably cold for weeks and weeks on end and the snow is relentless as well.  The summers are usually nice and warm and sunny with not too much rain however there is usually a heat wave that is hideous.  It is very hot, sticky and humid during that heat wave and unless you have AC it is absolutely brutal.  Yet still, I love it here and wouldn't live anywhere else!

Never been to Vancouver but in Toronto,summers are hot and humid, while winters are cold and snowy.

i personally love toronto. i was born, grew up and still ive in toronto. its really cold in th winter but in the summer its a great place to be! yeah.. it snows but you  get use to it. its a beautiful place with lots to do to have fun. i love this city and so do many others!!
