Question

okay, first of all how do people get pulp out of orange juice. im curious.

secondly, if it doesn't have pulp then it's not REAL orange juice, right?.

and lastly, how do they add extra pulp to orange juice? i mean like in stores you have a choice of some pulp, lots of pulp, and no pulp. what's up with that?

they use a strainer & it is real oj with or without

well to take it out you run it through a strainer

you dont add pulp you just don't take out any at all

when it just says pulp they take a little out

I was watching a show the other night how apple juice is made. They would run it through various size strainers until almost all the impurities and skin were removed. I would imagine the same thing is done with O.J.

you get it out by straining it

Just cause it has no pulp does not mean it is fake

they add extra pulp into it from the pulp that was taken out of the "no pulp" kind

they strain then the pulp strained from the no pulp is put in the EXTRA pulp

they dont always take out all the pulp. different strainers get out the different amounts of pulp.

1. they get pulp out by squeezing and with a spoon or something scooping and scraping it out.

2. if it doesn't have pulp it's cos they strain it and get rid of it.

3. they add more pulp.

Some people hate eating thier orange juice... so, they strain the pulp out and reserve it.  It is still juice without the pulp.  It is just refined.  The normal pulp juice is just made in a big juicer and the normal amount of pulp is left in it.  they do not strain it out.  The extra puld juice is the same stuff, but the pulp that was removed from the (no pulp) stuff is put into the normal juice!
