Does anyone know how to get your credit report without having to have some kind of membership and where you don't have to use a credit card? (freecreditreport.com is NOT free!)

Most credit cards have one month free credit report. Make sure that you call them up and cancel the services after one month otherwise you will get charged. Otherwise, you are eligible for one credit report free from the credit agencies.

yes, freecreditreport.com is free, what you need to do is sign up and then once you get your credit scores, immediately call the number to cancel your account.  i have done this and they have not charged me before...hope this helps

You can get one free in a 12 month period.  You can also get one if you have been turned down for credit.  The rejection letter will have details.

Yeah haha FCR isnt free...So much for those commercials.

My finance professor told us to goto annualcreditreport.com .  They are required to give out ONE free credit report each year.  But if you want more, you have to pay.
