Question:

A Question about The Anti Christ...?

If the Anti Christ is prophesized to come in the Bible, and as a result of his coming we eventually do get the Kingdom of God and the Judgment, then why not vote for any candidate who might be The Anti Christ? His election would only make the coming of the Lord sooner, it would just mean the Lord would be returning that much sooner. So wouldn't the Anti Christ eventually be for the best? If its prophesized, its unavoidable, anyway. Please enlighten, thank you.

  1. To try to vote for a person when it is unknown as to who this would be won't work besides the Anti Christ doesn't need to be an elected official to create problems.  We didn't vote Osama Bin Laden into office and look what he has created.

  2. I can't believe people who believe this c**p are actually going to vote in November

  3. Anti-Christ is a metaphor. We are all capable of being the anti-Christ because of our sins. Don't take everything the Bible says too seriously, there is usually a hidden meaning behind it.

  4. When Jesus returns, all people will be judged to live forever in paradise with Jesus or in h**l without any God and without any hope of getting out,,, forever.

We are not supposed to hurry the coming of Jesus because many people have not chosen life with God and under His rules,,, yet.

Lord Jesus please don't come until everyone has a chance to decide.

  5.    My pastor teaches that the rapture will happen before the Anti-Christ is revealed and then Christ and His saints will come and destroy him and then will be the1,OOO yr Millennial reign of Christ on the earth.

  6. "Christians see death as the ultimate goal, the road to heaven. And so, they seek to get everyone else to that door way, but will use every medical treatment to avoid it. At all costs."

Many christians are way to into this life to let it go

  7. there is no one anti christ. Anyone who is against Christ is anti christ.

  8. The Antichrist is just as fantastical as God and jesus

  9. One could also argue that the best way to help your candidate to win an election is to attempt to assassinate them.

One could argue that the best way to protect national security is actually to engage in certain types of terrorism.  Blowing up a bridge in the middle of the night when no one is around will cause the government to spend more money on the problem, right?

The Bible says that a house divided against itself cannot stand.  It says that no servant can serve two masters.  Paul asks the rhetorical question, "Should we sin so that grace can abound?"  His answer, "Perish the thought!"  If the Antichrist is understood to be an evil influence on the world, then promoting such a person only leads to evil.

The reason one shouldn't promote evil persons to promote eventual good is because of what happens to individuals in the meantime.  Suppose, for instance, that a time-traveling historian knows for a fact that the existence of Hitler is essential to prevent the possibility that Stalin will go on to conquer the world- perhaps a much greater evil.  Should that historian go back to 1933 and vote for Hitler?  Or, should he vote for Churchill and FDR?

The Bible is also clear that certain conditions must be met first before the "end will come."  The Great Commission must be carried out, for instance.  The Antichrist is not the trigger, but rather, a feature of a process already in action.  By the time the Antichrist is overtly apparent, the wheels are already turning.

  10. Death is unavoidable as well but it's still a sin to commit suicide.

  11. That totally makes sense. But, I think my problem is wondering if anyone who votes the Anti Christ into an office may be considered "with" him/her. I don't know. It's a very interesting question. Kind of like, when they crucified Jesus, since it was foretold anyway, are the people who called for his death supposed to be held responsible for it? Mainly it is just a means to an inevitable outcome, I guess. My take on it is that, no, it's nothing people could do that would edit God's plans. That's where much division in the Christian church happens throughout history. But given the suffering the Anti Christ will cause to millions of people, I personally wouldn't be in a hurry to vote him or her into office- but that's assuming our American election even holds any significance as far as this is concerned.

One thing I've always wondered: Will the Anti Christ be aware that they are, in fact, the Anti Christ from the time they're born? Or will they realize it at some point?

  12. Pssh its not like hes real

  13. uh

  14. I don't really think that the Kingdom of God is on an American election timetable. When He feels it is time to end history and begin eternity, it will all happen.

  15. there is a antichrist ( the man of sin) but your not going to hurry the lord. his timing not ours.it could be another 500 years, you don't know.

  16. God already knows who the anti christ will be so why have an election to speed it up? That doesn't make that person the anti christ. the anti christ won't even lead you to God or heaven anyway. He'll deceive tons of people left behind after the rapture (which God and only God knows when that'll be and won't change that date) and after awhile he'll just end up treating them badly.

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

  17. Well in the bible it says that when a dark skinned person is president that the end is close by

  18. There are a lot of philosophies about anti christ who I believe is the (Devil, Satan, Lucifer) Why do you wonder so much about it?

Global warming will wreak havoc than most can endure!

  19. Too bad about Revelations.  It's the sort of typical religious nonsense which was very popular back in the 2nd Century AD - and there were lots of writings like this - the Babylonians had them by the bushel basket full.  It's of no consequence - don't worry about it.  There isn't any Anti-Christ - it's all c**p for stupid people.

And why the people who stuck the bible together in the 3rd Century AD included anything like Revelations, who knows!  It's meaningless drivel has been upsetting religious types for the past 1800 years and everybody of importance since that time has been thought of as the Anti-Christ.

  20. You are right. And make sure you leave some cookies out for Santa Claus and hide your eggs for the Easter Bunny.

  21. but the anti christ would also cause the armageddon which would lead to hundreds of millions dieng  and the ones that die by the anti christs hand are forevrer engrave in the darkest depths of hel

    jk

  22. That's the stupidest thing anyone could ever say. Thats like saying let's vote to blow up the world in a hope that God will come and save us. This is of course absurd. You would actually like to make conditions for you and your family worse with some bizarre hope that Jesus will come...listen you don't know when or even if Jesus will come. Would you have supported Hitler?? You are bizarre my friend

  23. Excellant question!!

  24. There is definitely a Anti-christ. In coming with the Lord, all of His Saints would love for Jesus to return this moment. The Lord is waiting for non- to perish.

The Anti-christ will be such a great speaker and many will follow him straight into h**l. He will also do miracles and wonders just Like Jesus did in the New Testament. How are you going to know the difference, you wont unless you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you will not be able to make the distinction between Jesus Christ and the Anti-christ.

  25. the prophecy hold true so no matter what we do it is going to happen. So even if we do stop electing people it's just a matter of time b4 it happens.

  26. You've got your facts mixed up.  It is not possible for us to "elect" the Antichrist for a couple of reasons:

    First, no one knows who he is, so we could not vote for him even if an election were being held;

Second, the Antichrist is coming to the nation of Israel and will try to push himself off to them as their messiah.  Many will actually believe him, too.

We cannot hasten or delay the coming of Israel's One True Messiah, Jesus, by even one day; the time is already set and only God Himself knows when.  "...but of the times and seasons, brethren, I would not have you to be ignorant..." --the Apostle Paul--

Study your Bible, particularly Matthew chapter 24, Ezekiel 39 and 39, and 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 and 5, and you will see that much of it reads like today's headlines!  In the words of the Bible, we should "watch and be ready."

  27. The Bible says that the Anti Christ will come out of Syria.
