  1. The breed of your dogs will have some impact on how well they get along - if you have terriers, there may always be the temptation for your dogs to chase the rabbit. That's why it is really important that you NEVER leave the rabbit in a situation where the dogs could get to it before you intervene. Make sure the rabbit's cage is strong, and inaccessable to the dogs at all times, and keep them separate when the rabbit is out of it's cage.

If you have non-hunting dogs, you might find that after some training and careful introductions, they will get along well. If the dogs aren't inclined to chase the rabbit when it moves around, they will get used to each other and all will be well. Your rabbit may even end up bigger than your dogs!

Just be careful with how you handle all of this. If worst comes to worst, you CAN keep rabbits and guinea pigs together. It's not ideal, but many people do it successfully. I foster rabbits and sometimes guinea pigs for a humane organisation, and at times when there have been a high number of animals come in, sometimes there's been no choice but keep them together. So long as you cater for the different needs of both animals, and make sure the guinea pigs are not being picked on, then it'll do well enough. The main problem with keeping them together is the larger size of the rabbit compared to the guinea pigs, causing a bit of bullying, and also the difference in diet between the two animals.

Try your best to keep the bunny indoors, but if you can't manage it, give the guinea pig/rabbit combo a try and see what happens. Just be careful that they are both safe from each other, and do your research on care of each, so they both remain healthy.

    Good luck!!

  2. Keep ur puppies outside.

  3. Domestic rabbits tend to get along with anything that won't try to eat them.  Train your dogs to behave properly around your rabbit not the other way around.  Even though I've taught my dogs how to act around rabbits, I always supervise their interaction.

If you keep it outside, no, it will not be okay to keep it with a guinea pig. They eat different foods that are not okay for the other animal.  Keep them in separate cages.

    Enjoy.

  4. i have a mini rex she's kept inside, i also have a large german shepard mix. They get along okay, of course i never let my rabbit out when he's there, but like when he goes downstairs my rabbit is right agaisn't the cage looking at him and i alouded him to sniff her and all he did all l**k her and she was fine.

They might get along, but if the rabbit makes a sudden move the dogs instinct might kick in and it might be bye bye bunny. Just make sure you supervise and i wouldn't let the bunny on the ground with the dogs at all.

  5. my cats and dogs get along very well. I guess you should try it first and watch what's happenning
