A Question about my radiator

Okay I have a 1998 Chevy Lumina..The problem I'm having is that my Low Coolant light keeps coming on even though I have anti freeze in the radiator and in the overflow bottle..Does any idea what the problem could be??

inside of the overflow bottle is a sensor that goes to the dash ''low level coolant'' lite

From experience I have never really paid much attention to these  types of indicators. I prefer to check all my fluid levels often as well as all the lites etc.

These sensors get a crud build-up in them. It comes from the coolant, dex-cool. You can try and clean the sensor out with a Q-tip and see if that solves the concern, or you will need to replace the sensor!

more than likely its a sensor,but you could have an air pocket in the engine and while it runs it sucks out the coolent in the overflow tank setting off the sensor but i dought it
