  1. inside of the overflow bottle is a sensor that goes to the dash ''low level coolant'' lite

From experience I have never really paid much attention to these  types of indicators. I prefer to check all my fluid levels often as well as all the lites etc.

  2. These sensors get a crud build-up in them. It comes from the coolant, dex-cool. You can try and clean the sensor out with a Q-tip and see if that solves the concern, or you will need to replace the sensor!

  3. Your coolant sensor has probably went on the blink!!

  4. more than likely its a sensor, but you could have an air pocket in the engine and while it runs it sucks out the coolent in the overflow tank setting off the sensor but i dought it

  5. bad coolant sensor in your over tank not a problem to replace
